GARUDIC Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how GARUDIC (“GARUDIC”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use our real-estate intelligence platform, including our website, web applications, and related services (together, the “Service”). It describes what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
The Service is operated by GARUDIC Multi-Services. You can reach us at garudic7@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information we need to operate and improve the Service. Depending on how you use GARUDIC, this can include:
- Account information you provide when you register.
- Property and search information, such as listings you view, save, or publish.
- Device and technical information collected automatically for security and operation.
- Location information, if you choose to share it.
- Documents and property evidence you upload for listings or verification.
- Information from messages you send us.
3. Account Information
When you create a GARUDIC account we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, mobile number, and the role you select (for example buyer, seller, agent, builder, PG owner, PG renter, investor, or legal advisor). We also collect authentication information needed to keep your account secure, and any additional profile details you choose to add.
4. Property and Search Information
We collect information about how you use the Service, including searches you run, properties you view or save, alerts and preferences you configure, and listings you create or manage. If you publish a listing, we process the content and details you provide so the listing can be displayed to other users.
5. Device and Technical Information
When you access the Service, we automatically receive standard technical information such as your browser and device type, operating system, IP address, pages visited, and the time of your visit. We use this to keep the Service secure, diagnose problems, and understand overall usage.
6. Location Information
If you grant permission, we may collect approximate or precise location information to show nearby properties, maps, or location-based results. Location access is optional: you can decline it, and you can change or revoke permission at any time in your browser or device settings. The Service remains usable without location access.
7. Documents and Property Evidence
Some features may ask you to upload documents, such as property ownership papers, agreements, or identity documents, in order to publish a listing or complete a verification flow. We use these documents only to provide the feature they were submitted for, to verify information where that is the stated purpose, and to comply with law. Do not upload documents that a feature has not asked for.
8. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Create and authenticate your account.
- Display property listings, search results, and informational insights.
- Review property documents where a verification feature applies.
- Generate automated, informational insights about properties.
- Send transactional communications such as OTP codes and security notices, and, only if you opt in, marketing communications.
- Protect the safety and security of the platform, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
9. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these situations:
- With service providers that help us operate the Service, under contracts that restrict how they may use the data.
- With other users, when you publish content such as a listing or a public profile.
- With authorities or third parties where we are legally required, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of GARUDIC, our users, or the public.
- In connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, with notice to affected users where required.
10. Service Providers
We rely on third-party providers to help deliver the Service, for example hosting and cloud infrastructure, email and SMS delivery for OTP codes, payment processing where payments are enabled, maps and location data, and customer support tools. Our service providers process information on our behalf under strict contractual restrictions. These include enterprise cloud infrastructure (Asia-South, India), secure transactional communication gateways, and specialized spatial mapping providers bound by confidentiality and security covenants.
11. Data Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including transmitting data over HTTPS where supported. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your password confidential and contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. Suspected security issues can be reported to garudic7@gmail.com.
12. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information except where we are required to retain certain records. We retain consent records so that we can demonstrate which policy versions you accepted and when.
13. Cookies and Similar Technologies
GARUDIC currently uses browser local storage and similar technologies for strictly necessary purposes only, such as keeping you signed in, remembering your theme preference, and remembering your email if you select “Remember me”. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies on these pages at this time. Third-party content that the Service loads, such as fonts, results in standard technical requests to those providers. If analytics or other tracking technologies are added in the future, this section will be updated and, where required, a separate cookie preference mechanism will be offered.
14. User Rights and Choices
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have some of the following rights:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Withdraw marketing consent at any time.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a portable copy of information you provided, where applicable.
To exercise a right, contact us using the details in the Contact Information section. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
15. Communications
Transactional and service communications, such as one-time passwords, security alerts, and account notices, are necessary to operate your account and cannot be disabled while your account is active. Marketing communications, such as product updates, property insights, and promotions, are sent only if you separately opted in. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages.
16. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services, such as Google sign-in, maps providers, payment processors, or websites linked from listings. When you interact with these services, their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
17. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, or under the higher minimum age required by the law of your jurisdiction. Accounts are intended for users who are at least 18 years old or the age of majority where they live. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
18. International Data Transfers
We and our service providers process information predominantly within secure cloud regions located in India (Asia-South). Where transfers of personal information across borders are required for global infrastructure or disaster recovery, we rely on legally recognized safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, restricted access protocols, and end-to-end transport encryption.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date and the policy version shown at the top of this page always identify the current version. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email where practicable, and we may ask you to review and re-accept the updated policy before continuing to use the Service.
